After Shikamana
It is hoped that pupils from Shikamana can join Secondary Education (High School) after class 8 or join a Polytechnic to acquire trade skills. However many of the pupils at Shikamana come from families living in extreme poverty. They are unable to pay full fees even at Shikamana who offer education at a greatly reduced price. It is therefore unlikely that the majoirty of children at Shikamana will be able to further their education without the support of sponsorship.
